Bali's arts has relates to various foreign encounters such as India,China,Java (Indonesia),Islam, and Europe.India was first who entered Bali with their great Ramayana and Mahabarata epics thats inspired almost lot of painter in Bali.China followed with its architectural traits and introducing the use of ink.The Islamic world also contributed various decorative elements which is avoids the portrayal of human and animal forms.Java has long provided inspiration for Bali, political, and religious proximity made possible the close resemblance of artistic inheritances. The latest contributors were the European countries, they did not only introduce paper and canvas as mediums but had larger roles in the art community. These products are then sold or distributed at art shops in tourism areas.now these paintings are more appropriately called "craft" rather than art and can be easily found at craft centers such as those of Ubud,Sukawati, and Kumbasari markets.Throughout the long 10 century journey of Balinese fine art,now they are no longer regarded only in religious worship but have also provided artist with room to express themselves, aid in the livelihood of the island's crafting society, and have always pleased the hearts of visitors who remember their last visit to Bali, with fine memorable pieces.
